In a world shaped by trends and external expectations, we believe that clothing should reflect a woman’s identity, not define it. True elegance goes beyond appearance: it is rooted in character, values, purpose and the excellence we cultivate within.
Our vision is to contribute to rewriting the definition of womanhood in the Caribbean and worldwide through the power of identity. We aspire to see women rise with confidence, embrace who they are and use their gifts to make a lasting impact on their communities.
KUMI ORI Community brings this vision to life through meaningful gatherings and conversations that encourage women to discover their identity, clarify their purpose and recognise their potential. Our ambition is to build a community that grows across the Caribbean and beyond, empowering women, celebrating local craftsmanship and contributing to meaningful social change. We believe that when a woman knows who she is, she can walk with purpose, lead with confidence and make a lasting impact on the world around her.
To begin bringing this vision to life, we are hosting our first event, The Power of Identity, on November 28, 2026, in Guadeloupe. This gathering marks the beginning of a journey centred on identity, purpose and impact.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I am a young Caribbean woman whose journey has taught me the importance of knowing who I am, beyond the expectations of others.
Growing up, I observed how society can influence the way women see themselves, the choices they make, the way they dress, and the relationships they pursue. I experienced this influence myself, seeking acceptance, validation, and belonging, sometimes at the expense of my own values and convictions.
This journey shaped two of the convictions at the heart of KUMI ORI.
First, outer elegance should reflect inner excellence. Modesty is not simply about covering the body; it is about cultivating the values, character, and standards that give meaning to the way we present ourselves.
Second, a woman’s worth goes far beyond her beauty. In a society that often equates visibility and exposure with acceptance, I believe women should be encouraged to cultivate their knowledge, skills, character, and purpose. True empowerment means having the confidence, education, and discernment to shape one’s future.
KUMI ORI is more than a clothing brand. It is a call to rediscover identity, cultivate excellence, and make a lasting impact in the Caribbean and beyond.
And my faith in God is at the centre of this vision. I believe He entrusted me with KUMI ORI, and I want to build it under His guidance, with Him as the leader and me as the steward of the vision.
